Irving Healthcare Foundation seeks to be the most trusted place to give and volunteer in support of safe, quality, compassionate healthcare.
Irving Healthcare Foundation’s vision is a healthier Irving, Grand Prairie and Coppell, Texas.
Civic leaders established Irving Healthcare Foundation (IHF) as a public charity in 1977 to raise funds for nonprofit healthcare in Irving. To date, more than $40 million has been raised for our worthy nonprofit beneficiaries in Irving and our foundation.
Our primary recipient is Baylor Medical Center at Irving. IHF also raises funds to help:
- needy, uninsured residents in our service area through regular medical and dental care at Irving Community Clinic
- children with medical needs and their families at Baylor Our Children’s House in Irving and in Las Colinas
- provide service dogs to adults and children with assistance needs through Baylor-Canine Companions for Independence-Kinkeade Campus (new in 2015)
- the collaborative, obesity-battling efforts of the Childhood Obesity Task Force.
We have a staff of four who work under the direction of a wonderful board and the visionary supervision of Baylor Medical Center at Irving’s administration.
Irving Healthcare Foundation is recognized by the Internal Revenue Services as a 501(c)(3) tax-exempt nonprofit organization (Federal ID # 75-1570933).
